"Appreciation"

2023, Receipts, glue, wooden knitting needles

For more than a year, I have been collecting checks and continue to knit this chain mail, as an example of the financial protection that England and Great Britain as a whole gave me.I am grateful to all the people who helped me during my escape from the war. Thanks to my wonderful sponsors who were like parents to me during a difficult period. I feel protected, accepted in this country and grateful.
